Economy bathing

Economy Bathing
These are days when everyone of us must prevent wastage of water. I have found out a method to economize use of water for bathing in such a crisis. Usually the mugs we use are of one litre capacity. Take the first mug of water and begin by wetting the body with a sponge / kerchief / palm of the hand. Pour the second mug all over the body, SLOWLY. Next step is 'soaping'. The third mug is used for washing off the soap lather. Follow it by slowly pouring a couple of mugs. The bath is now complete! Actually, on an average, just five to six litres of water is sufficient for a clean bath. Add 1-2 mugs in case of the head-bath.Do you know that about 50% of water falls directly to the floor if water is poured hurriedly? There are people who consume more than two buckets of water for one bath! I know a friend who does this. Asked why, he says that his bath ends only when a certain 'current' passes through his body! This 'economy bath formula' would come in handy in such a crisis esp. to such excessive consumers. Let us use water judiciously. It is precious.

Hey taking a bath with 5 mugs of water? Ho no there is a lot you are wasting. Just see this. there is a high pressure automiser that can be made using cycle pump and a few pvc pipe fittings with which the US army people have a good bath. this means even less use of water.

However our people believe in ultimate physuics--Matter can neithe be created nor be destroyed. hence please use it generously or waste it generously !!!!!

The method I suggested is not for everyday. They are only for such times as a water shortage period. Many times, we have to manage the inflow of water with the consumption. Harvesting rooftop rainwater is another easy method to avoid a 'no-water crisis'. I know how this is useful from own experience.

Yes, I had read about this pressure automiser where just a very small quantity of water is needed for bathing. Such ideas must be publicized more and brought to areas where persistant water shortage is a problem. The govt. says it will bring water to all villages and all... which is impracticable and they would be lying (a habit!). Where do they get water, in the first place?

Matter can neither be created or destroyed: the theory is right, but people have to be judicious in using a natural resource - there will be other users also even though he can pay for it! Money cannot buy water at one stage, may be many decades later. There are people that wash their luxurious cars with drinking water that gets supplied in taps. And gallons of it. He can afford to pay for his consumption, but what a waste!
